What is True for Me? Series

Developed by Reverend Jane Beach

The purpose of this 4-course series is to honor the human experience. Each course is designed as a personal workbook in which the student considers the wisdom contained in articles and inspiring stories by spiritual teachers. Then, through a series of questions, they contemplate what is true for them -- how does this apply to my life? What do I believe? My prayer is that the process enhances self-worth, self-acceptance, and self-love.

This course is about you! What could be better?! There is so much to read about what others think, but when it comes right down to it, all that matters is what you think and feel. It is designed as a personal workbook, a journal in which to contemplate your thoughts, opinions, questions, revelations, and everything that comes in-between. In the workbook you will read articles that will present ideas for you to consider, followed by questions which will ask you to reach deep inside yourself to discover what you truly believe. There is no right or wrong. The beauty is in the rich, authentic awakening to who you know yourself to be today, at this time in your life.

This course is about honoring your relationship with yourself, your God, and your beliefs about prosperity. You are star of the show, the hero of the story, no matter what your story looks like. You will consider what you truly believe about prosperity ... wealth ... the abundance of the Universe, and your worthiness and willingness to receive it. It is my great joy to walk alongside you, honoring every step you take, even when it’s messy. I have found that “messy” is often a precursor to awakening! Your journey is perfect, just as it is.

Anyone who has lived any length of time has known pain. We have been shaken to our core by circumstances we didn’t expect and didn’t want; it is part of the human experience. This course is about honoring those painful situations and the very human feelings that come with them. It is also about growing through those times with the self-respect and self-compassion that dignifies the pain and turns it into an insightful teacher. How do you move through challenges? What emotions catch your attention? What do you do when you have no idea which end is up? What is true for you guides your thoughts and your actions. This class invites you to get to know yourself at a deeper level.
